Manila, is the capital of the Philippines. It is part of the greater Metro Manila area consisting of 17 cities and is home to 11.8 million as of 2011. Manila being the capital has it's own share of interesting places such us Rizal Park also known as Luneta, Intramuros, Manila Cathedral, San Agustin Church and a whole lot more. Metro Manila is the financial, commercial and industrial enter of the Philipines. Makati City is the financial hub of the metropolitan area, it host the offices of the countries big company's and multinational company's doing business in the Philippines. It hosts the countries big shopping malls and entertainment areas.


Pampanga, known as the culinary capital of the Philippines. It is a province located in the Central Luzon region. Its capital is the San Fernando City. It is a 2 hour drive from Manila via NLEX. The province is home to two Philippine Air Force air bases, Basa Air Base in Floridabalanca, and the former U.S. Clark Air Base in Angeles City. It is an exciting province with a of tourist attraction all year round.

Right next to Pampanga is Subic, a former US Naval base. It host an array of tourist destinations such as beach resorts, diving/snorkelling, Ocean Adventure an open marine park and hiking in the nature reserve park.


Cebu, the "Queen City of the South" is in the Visayas region. Cebu City is the center of metropolitan area called Metro Cebu consisting of 7 cities and 6 municipalities. It is the center for commerce, trade and industry in the Visayas and Mindanao region. It is the main shipping port of the country hosting about 80% of the domestic shipping companies. Being the oldest settlement established by the Spaniards, it is were you will found the Magellan's Cross, Basilica of Sto Nino and other host of religious and Spanish related attractions. Cebu has great white sand beaches and relaxation and entertainment centers.


Davao, known as the “Crown Jewel of Mindanao” is the largest city in the island of Mindanao in the south of the Philippines. It is the regional center of Davao Region (Region XI) and the metropolitan center of Metro Davao which consists of 7 cities. It has a population of 1.4 million as of 2010, making it the country's largest city outside Metro Manila. In recent years, Davao City has emerged as the financial capital, investment and tourism hub for the entire southern Philippines. Mt Apo, the highest mountain (9,692 ft or 2,954 m) in the Philippines is located between Davao City and Davao del Sur is the the country's most popular climbing destinations.



 

General Santos, is the southernmost port city of the Philippines. GenSan as it is normally called is one of the most populous urban centers in the country with a population of half a million. The city's major economic activity is primarily anchored in two sectors namely the agro-industry and fishing industry. It is the largest producer of sashimi-grade tuna thus the title "Tuna Capital of the Philippines"
